Samsung 860 EVO - 1TB - SATA M.2 - V-NAND SSD

Here is the drive from this video: On Amazon.

This is the Samsung 860 EVO - 1TB - SATA M 2 - V-NAND SSD. The model number that I have is MZ-N6E1T0. The version that you can find at this link is MZ-N6E1T0BW ( added a “BW” at the end ). It looks like the exact same thing as far as I can tell.

This is an M.2 Sata Drive. I’ve been using this drive for about a year or so before replacing it with the Samsung 970 EVO Plus which uses NVMe 4x ( 4 PCIe lanes ). I was running Ubuntu 19.04 on this drive before installing Ubuntu 20.04 on the newer drive. I still have both plugged into my system so that I can still pull files of of the older drive if I need to. I can also still boot off of either drive if I need to.

Both the 860 and the 970 work great with my ROG Strix Z390-E Gaming LGA 1151 ATX Intel Motherboard.
