This is a somewhat reasonably priced, high quality motherboard from Asus. Besides probably being a tiny bit out of date at the moment this is a pretty good board and will probably serve you well. Basically anything in the Strix series is going to be pretty good and probably overkill.
While technically this board could be considered overkill it isn’t super, crazy over the top like some of the extreme boards.
