ODROID-C4

The ORDOID-C4 is the newest addition to the ORDOID C series as of this writing. It’s from the year 2020. It is one of the latest and greatest ORDOID models but it certainly isn’t the most powerful model out. This line of SBC is geared more towards being low cost while still having reasonable performance but if you really want something powerful you’ll probably want the N series which we’ll talk about on another page. That doesn’t mean this is bad as it is still a pretty powerful ARM based SBC. It features the Amlogic S905X3 system on a chip. This includes a Cortex-A55 which definitely isn’t the newest or most powerful cortex processor out at the time but it is still pretty decent. If you look at the newer models in the N series you’ll see that they include newer, more modern Cortex processors. While the CPU still only has four cores the clock speed has been increased to 2.0 gigahertz. It is of course a 64-bit CPU. It now features the Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. The RAM has been doubled again and is now up to four GB. It features four USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 OTG ports. For video output it now has HDMI 2.1. It of course also has gigabit Ethernet like the previous models and it has an assortment of expansion pins including GPIO and UART.
